Merkle Named a Leader in Customer Database & Engagement by the Forrester Wave™

The Report

Forrester, one of the most influential research and advisory firms in the world, has named Merkle a leader among customer database and engagement agencies for Q2 2018. Using the Forrester Wave™ and 32 sets of criteria, the study assessed the strengths and weaknesses of eight of the most well-known agencies in the industry, including Wunderman Data, Epsilon, and Harte Hanks.

The Findings

Merkle received the highest possible scores in marketing technology integration, client engagement, market approach, and innovation road map criteria. Regarding first party PII management and data enrichment strategy criteria, Merkle scored among the highest of all the providers evaluated. The study found, “Merkle’s data exercise response went above and beyond, with strategic recommendations and terrific, marketer-friendly dashboards.”

Forrester went on to say, “Merkle is an all-around solid agency counterpart to the marketing technology clouds. References speak highly of its collaborative nature, even when working with direct competitors, and of its deep understanding of clients’ businesses and challenges.”
